Pour Over Brew Guide

A precise and clean brew method that showcases the honest character of your favourite coffees.

  • Grind Size: Medium (like pepper grounds)

  • Coffee to Water Ratio: 1:16 (e.g. 15g coffee to 250ml water)

  • Water Temperature: 92–96°C

  • Brew Time: ~3 minutes

 

How to Brew

 

  1. Place a paper filter into the V60 and rinse it with hot water. Discard the rinse water.

  2. Add your ground coffee and gently level the surface.

  3. Begin pouring 30ml of water to bloom (about twice the weight of coffee).

  4. After 30 seconds, pour up to 100ml in slow, even spirals.

  5. Just before the water drains completely, pour another 50ml.

  6. Repeat until you’ve reached a total of 250ml.

  7. Let the final water draw through, then serve and enjoy.
