Cafetière Brew Guide

A classic immersion brew method that delivers a bold, full-bodied cup with deep flavour and a smooth finish.

  • Grind Size: Coarse (like sea salt)

  • Coffee to Water Ratio: 1:16 (e.g., 30g coffee to 500ml water)

  • Water Temperature: 93-96°C

  • Brew Time: 4 minutes

 

How to Brew

 

  1. Add coarsely ground coffee to your Cafetière.

  2. Pour hot water evenly over the coffee, saturating all grounds.

  3. Stir gently and place the lid on without plunging.

  4. Let the coffee steep for 4 minutes.

  5. Press the plunger down slowly and serve immediately.
