Stovetop Brew Guide

A stovetop brew method that delivers a rich, concentrated cup—similar in intensity and mouthfeel to espresso.

  • Grind Size: Medium-Fine (finer than drip, coarser than espresso)

  • Coffee to Water Ratio: 1:10 (e.g., 30g coffee to 300ml water)

  • Water Temperature: Pre-heated

  • Brew Time: 4 minutes

How to Brew

  1. Fill the bottom chamber with pre-heated water up to the release valve.

  2. Add medium-fine ground coffee to the filter basket and level with light pressure—no need to tamp.

  3. Insert the basket and screw the top and bottom chambers together securely.

  4. Place on a high heat source with the lid open.

  5. Once coffee begins to bubble through the spout, remove from heat immediately.

  6. Run the base under cold water to stop extraction.

  7. Serve and enjoy as a short, strong brew.
